A Normal Drive
The Uber map showed that the pickup was from the airport. She may as well have taken her boyfriend for his flight! She finally arrived at the pickup stop and in hopped a woman who must have been in her late twenties. Breanna was unaware of the surprise that would be awaiting her in the Uber drive, however. The passenger’s destination was automatically loaded into the system and she was somewhat of a talker. She told Breanna all about how she was from out of town and was on her way to visit her boyfriend. She shared how much she was missing him and couldn’t wait to be reunited.

As the passenger kept talking about her boyfriend and how much she was missing him, it only made Breanna think more about how her own boyfriend had just departed the state. This made Breanna feel sad, as the main point of this job was to distract her! If anything, it was only making her think about him more. It wasn’t a long ride, thankfully, and they were about to reach their destination.
