Whispers began to trail around the room as visitors and the happy couple wondered what was going on. Krysten and Chris waited in their chairs, unsure of what might happen next. Krysten looked around the room, wondering whether anyone knew what her father was up to. She suspected it had something to do with his strange behavior during the last few months. She was nervous because this was something she hadn’t expected.

Krysten was thrown into a predicament she badly wished to avoid. Despite her request that her family does not plan any surprises for her wedding, her father had clearly planned one. She sat there stunned – how could her father have failed to inform her that he was preparing something? She was, nonetheless, intrigued. She was never concerned about something unexpected happening because she didn’t know it was going to happen. She should have known her father would do anything like this.
