After months of preparing, Krysten’s father’s plan was finally complete. He only needed Krysten to respond with “The Little Mermaid,” which she duly accomplished. Everything was going just as he had planned. Krysten was prepared for the big surprise because she had given her father the response he desired. He was ready to lay his cards on the table after months of planning a surprise his daughter would never forget. Everyone in the room was staring at him, wondering what he was doing.

He Walked Away
Her father responded with a single word: “Okay.” After that, he simply walked off the platform and toward the hall doors, preparing to leave. The guests were all taken aback. Krysten and Chris were stunned and perplexed as they watched him walk away. They merely sat in their chairs in the middle of the room, unsure what to do. Chris even tried to keep an eye on his new father-in-law to see where he was headed.
