THE SHOW THAT NEARLY DIDN’T HAPPEN
Star Trek: The Next Generation came dangerously close to not happening. This was because Roddenberry was adamant about not allowing any sort of crossover. Work collaboration between the various teams was never permitted. It was necessary for the studio to wait for the creator’s death before proceeding with the project.
BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ
More than one animal incident occurred on the set of the film. The irritating buzzing became so distracting that William Shatner began making jokes about it until a bee stung him squarely on the eyelid. Sally Kellerman, who appeared as a guest star, was also stung, and she ended up being really grateful that practically all of the remainder of her scenes that day required her to stand.
