In the 1984 Olympics, Mary Decker, who was known as a world champion, was involved in an accident with Britain’s Zola Budd Halfway through the competition. The two athletes participated in the 3,000-meter run. The two collide, which made Decker’s day terrible. Unfortunately for Budd, the runner came in seventh place.

In Sierra Leone, on April 6, 2006, Two of the participants chased the ball in Freetown. The two men were a part of the Single Leg Amputee Sports Club, and they were involved in a violent civil war. After the war had ended, a record of six thousand amputees was living in Sierra Leone.
