They were now close enough to the animal to almost see what it was. It has four legs and looked like a dog. However, this was not anyone’s lost pet. It was drenched in water and shivered uncontrollably. It was at this point that the three companions realized they had no choice but to exert all of their strength to save this animal, even though their own situation had taken a dangerous turn.

Time was running short, and the group needed to come up with a plan to save the fox. Time was running out, and they hadn’t even considered one critical factor. Would the fox even accompany them? Would it have faith in them? Nobody could have predicted how the fox would connect with humans. Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, they may be unable to assist.
