Explore Patrick Mahomes’ Fancy House In Kansas City

Published on 03/07/2024

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is currently one of the NFL’s brightest stars, and it comes with a fairly substantial salary. So it’s no surprise that the Kansas City Chiefs player has invested in a high-end pad complete with a wine cellar, steam room, and, of course, a walk-in sneaker closet. But you might be startled by the retro vibes and zen influence that make this house unique – and really enviable. Explore Patrick and Brittany’s luxurious Kansas City home. You might become jealous.

Take A Look Inside Patrick Mahomes’ Luxury Kansas City Mansion

Explore Patrick Mahomes’ Fancy House In Kansas City

A Kansas City neighborhood with high prices

So, if you’re going to spend $2 million on a property, you want it to be great, right? And Sunset Hills West is one of the greatest areas to live in Kansas City, which is why Patrick has a lot of celebrities as neighbors. His property clearly stands out from theirs. Patrick purchased the property in 2019 as an upgrade from his bachelor pad to a family home. The house was created with a clean and simple appearance, making it appear rather understated for its price. The entrance doors are guarded by two massive statues, making it everything but basic.

One Of The Most Expensive Neighborhoods In Kansas City

Both Indoors and Out Are Beautiful

The inside, like the exterior, is well decorated. Patrick avoided the famous cliche of displaying his wealth in the interior design, instead opting for a roomy, nostalgic vibe with classic paintings and comfortable giant furnishings. The couple collaborated with the designer to bring the natural surroundings of the property inside, as evidenced by the earthy and wood tones throughout the area. And in this particular room, we can see that they have united the living and kitchen areas in a basic open-plan style, with a fire at the center of everything.

Indoors And Outdoors Are Equally Magnificient

Both Indoors and Out Are Beautiful

The Buddhist Influence is Strong

One of the house’s main motifs is Zen Buddhism, which we can see coming together here in this small hidden garden area. Mahomes has to be one of the busiest athletes in the NFL, so he has very little downtime. So it’s no surprise that he prefers to do it in as ‘zen’ a setting as possible, and it doesn’t get much more relaxed than this. To escape the frenzy of celebrity life, he has developed his own peace garden, complete with a reclining double garden sofa surrounded by flowers and shaded by an overhanging tree.

Beware the Red Restroom

We saw that Mahomes’ living room has a throwback vibe, but his bathroom takes it to the next level. Going full red (floor and everything), it’s finished with hints of rich mahogany and classic silver paneling that nearly feels like you’re in a bar. This idea is carried out by presenting toilet tissues on a bar tray. To complete the austere look, there is a red poster of Lenin. This space differs from the rest of the house’s nature-themed rooms and may not be considered a calm place to unwind. But it’s a really cool look.

Watch Out For The Red Restroom

A custom bar is in the living room

Can you really have a celebrity pad without a custom-built bar? We’d say this one is quite low-key in terms of bars, which goes well with the house’s overall modest style. It’s still quite wonderful, tucked by the side of the living room and almost within reach of those large plush sofas; it’s the ideal accent to any party. Patrick and Brittany, as evidenced by their social media accounts, clearly enjoy throwing parties.

They Have a Restaurant Standard Kitchen

As a professional athlete, Mahomes must eat well. And whether he cooks the meals himself or hires a chef, this kitchen is the ideal place to produce those healthful foods. Continuing the antique wood concept, the cabinets match the beams that line the wall of windows overlooking the garden. The rest is all white and completely outfitted with everything a professional cook could desire, including a stove island beneath a skylight.

The Interior Reflects the 50s Architecture

Although Patrick purchased the property in 2019, it was built in 1953, and as we can see in this room, he has endeavored to honor the building’s period with its interior design. In yet another huge living area, we can find a slightly more formal arrangement. The space is furnished with leather couches and contemporary stalls that circle the central dark wood coffee table. This wooden theme continues across the window frames, which, like the kitchen, create a wall of light in the nostalgic room.

A Dining Area Deserving of Kings

Mahomes’ dining room is in stark contrast to the rest of the house. The dark wooden window frames have been replaced with fresh white tiles, and the retro concept that was prevalent elsewhere has been replaced by modern lighting and futuristic accessories such as the mirror and centerpiece. However, the dark oak floor and table pay homage to the 1950s aesthetic, and the floor-to-ceiling windows that encircle the space undoubtedly bring nature indoors. Similar to a formal picnic.

An abundance of room for breakfast

If Patrick and Brittany choose something more casual to eat, they have a very large breakfast bar in the state-of-the-art kitchen. The four built-in chairs are ideal for the couple and their two children, and there is even a fold-out extension in case anyone else wants to join them for dinner. And they’re all focused around the stove, making it ideal for cooking, chopping, or chatting. Of course, there is a refrigerator large enough to serve the whole Kansas City Chiefs team if they decide to visit!

Patrick Has a Dedicated A Room Just for His Shoes

We’ve heard of walk-in closets, but a dedicated shoe room? That’s next level! However, shoes, or more especially sneakers, are without a doubt Mahomes’ biggest weakness. His precious collection is undeniably priceless. The limitless shelves are stocked with unique stuff, including limited editions from his primary sponsor, Adidas. And for his very special pairs, he has an illuminated shelf displaying specific shoes, as well as an incredible collection of sunglasses to match. Well, you have to look the part.

His Sneakers Have Their Own Security

Given how pricey this collection of footwear is, it’s hardly surprising that Mahomes wants some protection for them. He hasn’t gone so far as to hire a security guard, but we can see in this photo that he has a camera pointed at them at all times. He also mentioned while demonstrating this area that they “… [tore] everything down and built it back up the way [they] wanted,” which is clear in the space’s very sleek and modern finish, replete with more floor-to-ceiling windows that continue to bring the outdoors in.

Obligatory Oversized Celebrity Pool

Patrick and Brittany have done well to avoid excessive displays of wealth in their house, but everyone deserves one pleasure, right? And, honestly, what millionaire’s pad is complete without a massive outdoor pool? So it’s no surprise that Mahomes has joined the trend with this full-size beauty. Although we’re sure, like most celebs, they don’t use it frequently. As we can see, it’s a beautiful site to watch the sunset, and with tables dotted about it, it’s also a nice area to sip a drink from the built-in bar.

A Hidden Acre of Land Within the City

Let’s not forget that the Mahomeses opted to live right in the heart of Kansas City, so the amount of acreage this property occupies is rather astounding. With a massive complex, covered courtyard, swimming pool, sports court, and expansive garden grass. There’s plenty of space and stuff to do here. One of their favorite characteristics, however, is the abundance of trees that skillfully shade them from the prying eyes of the press while also providing them with much-needed seclusion.

They Love Their Dogs

Family is extremely important to Mahomes; it’s the reason he upgraded his residence in the first place. And at the center of it is his wife Brittany Matthews, whom he met in high school and has remained with him throughout his NFL career. They have two small children and several dogs, all of whom they adore. Let’s be honest: this mansion is a dog’s dream with all of that space!

All Depends on the Ambient Lighting

Here’s another image of one of the house’s cozy, hidden areas; as we can see, the entire property is on one level, which adds to the intimate atmosphere. However, nothing quite sets the setting like mood lighting, as demonstrated here. Mahomes has a Google Nest Table that controls all lights in his home. Not quite in line with the property’s retro character, but well worth it!

Introducing the Dreamy Bathtub

Remember the classic red washroom we saw earlier? The main bathroom could not be more different in terms of style, with cool creams and peaceful wood tones throughout. The massive stand-alone bathtub is positioned in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, which have dark wooden beams. The tiles are another homage to the 1950s concept that runs throughout the property. The colors and environment make you feel as if you’re bathing outside, which we’re sure was the purpose when they constructed it. And it looks like the perfect place to spend some “me” time.

They Have an Inbuilt Steam Room

You’d be excused for believing this photo was from a luxurious spa, but it’s really Mahomes’ restroom. We all know saunas and steam rooms are beneficial to sportsmen, so it’s no surprise that he opted to build a massive shower to match their gigantic bathtub. The secret feature they have included also allows it to function as a steam room! As luxurious as this is, we’re distracted by the urinal on the wall next to it; who has a urinal in their home? We assume an extremely busy celebrity on the go.

The Gym That You’ve Seen in Brittany’s Videos

This one goes without saying, and you may have already seen it because Brittany has a popular channel where she posts home workout videos. So it’s critical that she has somewhere to shoot them. And with its famous floor-to-ceiling windows and clean-cut design, there couldn’t be a better location to film. It also allows Patrick to practice when he is not at Arrowhead Stadium, which was critical during the epidemic when he was unable to train with his squad.

The Perfect Mix of Contemporary and Retro

This photo exemplifies the designers’ ability to perfectly combine contemporary and classic designs. Many traditional elements may be seen in this elegant and spacious living room. Matching stand lamps, leather couches, and dark wood paneling. But there are also some modern accents that have been cleverly incorporated, such as the stand-alone blue art piece and spotlights on the ceiling.

Spot the Calming Japanese Influence

We can see the welcome space that you would be greeted with upon entering Patrick and Brittany’s home, and as far as first impressions go, this one delivers a punch. The Japanese style immediately reflects the Zen motif, with harmonizing wood and a delicately crafted banister. The walls are adorned with impressive paintings, and unlike many of the rooms, a simple vase of flowers stands on the table to lend a splash of color to the tranquil environment.

The Bedroom Is the Entire Apartment’s Size

The pair is famed for their modesty, as evidenced by their relatively basic cottage. They even have a reputation for being economical, since they reportedly chose to reside with Patrick’s mother while they prepared the house. However, their master bedroom is far from a reflection of that, since it is vast and crammed with every luxury element available. From the huge bed to the matching built-in armchairs, various cream sofas, widescreen TV, roaring fireplace, and surrounding patio windows, this jewel was clearly where the couple chose to splurge!

Yet Another Bathroom …

We’ve already seen at least two restrooms; here’s another. This one is an ensuite, possibly to that ridiculous bedroom. Well, if you were in there, you wouldn’t want to leave for too long, thus having the amenities near by is crucial. This room follows the same style as the main bathroom, with matching classic titles, signature wooden features, and a sight of the lush grounds outside to complete the relaxing image.

Their Guests Are in for a Treat

You definitely want to be friends with the Mahomeses because they have a hotel-quality suite for their guests to stay in. With a luxurious double bed and countless pillows stacked on top, it would be impossible not to be comfy. The green walls assist to bring in nature, which is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows, and they complement the large plant, which sets the tone for the ultimate relaxing experience. Now, remind us: how can we make friends with them again?

It’s Barbeque Time in Kansas City

It’s easy to see this photo and assume Mahomes lives in Florida or Los Angeles. However, this superstar resides in Kansas City (as you would expect if you play for the Chiefs). However, the innovative construction of this outdoor facility allows him to easily be transferred to a significantly more tropical location. The pool’s blue tiles create a welcoming atmosphere, whether swimming or barbequing in the large communal area surrounding the edge. Barbequing is a must in Kansas. And, of course, they have those trees to ensure that no one is photographed in their bikini.

There’s a Whole Lot of Wine Down in the Cellar

They may live in a bungalow, but there is one room on a distinct floor: the wine cellar. That is correct, the Mahomeses have their own specialized wine cellar! We know wine is a great investment, therefore we can’t imagine how much this space is worth! It is filled with priceless bottles, the rarest of which are displayed in a separate side space. To round out the old-school vibe, they’ve added a table and stools to enjoy a glass or two, as well as an old framed artwork to bring everything together.

Even More Space for Their Friends and Family

We can see another guest room here; how many guests do these people have? Well, we suppose having a luxurious dining room, built-in bar, private wine cellar, and, of course, a massive swimming pool does attract company. And yet again, whomever gets to stay here is extremely fortunate. A different style than the first room, with dark walls and light linens, but the large plant and excessive number of cushions keep the motif continuous – and quite comfortable!

And of Course, They Have a Walk-In-Wardrobe

We saw before that Patrick and Brittany had a dedicated area for their shoes (or Patrick’s, at least; we’re not sure if there is room for Brittany’s), and now we see that they also have one for their outfits and accessories. With lighter wood than the rest of the house, there is enough of storage space in all shapes and sizes to fit their various belongings and accessories. There’s also a large leather chair against the window wall in case you want someone’s opinion on your clothing (or just a quick break while getting dressed).

In the midst of the city, they have created a forest

Considering they are in the city, the Mahoneses have done an outstanding job of either building or locating a spot that feels like they are in the midst of a massive forest. This picture of the pool also shows a hot tub, a sun deck, and a huge groomed garden with steps leading to even more space. And the best bit? It’s all surrounded by massive, lush trees, giving it the feel of a country hideaway right in the heart of Kansas City! Talk about the best of both worlds.

Welcome to the Mahoneses!

And our final image is exactly what you would see if you were walking up to their house, hopefully for a party in the living room, a BBQ in the garden, or a stay in one of their guest apartments. You can clearly appreciate how lovely the property is, with its signature widow walls, small structure, and expansive grounds. Perfect for their growing family, which includes daughter Sterling and new baby Patrick Lavon III. Patrick is expected to earn $500 million from the Chiefs alone over the next eight years, so we wouldn’t expect anything less!

Inside Gisele and Tom Brady’s Regal Manor

Tom Brady, a professional quarterback and living legend, and his wife Gisele Bündchen relocated permanently to Florida from their New England home in 2020, stunning many fans and friends. Following the announcement of the estrangement, Brady’s stately castle was up for sale, prompting real estate agents and fans alike to learn more about the football star’s lifestyle. Fortunately, the Sotheby’s camera crew had the opportunity to tour the entire estate, giving everyone a glimpse of how the football hero and his family lived all these years. Here’s what the camera crew discovered!

Their Dream Home

Brady’s 12,000-square-foot mansion is located on a five-acre estate in Brookline, Massachusetts. Brady paid $4.5 million for the site back in 2015. However, by the time the Bradys sold it, the price had risen dramatically, owing primarily to the majestic mansion built on it. In 2019, the Bradys listed the property for sale for $39 million, which was reduced to $34 million when the football star couldn’t find a buyer. Even though he sold the house for less than he expected, Tom Brady most likely made a lot of money on the sale.

Getting a Bit Creative

The Bradys chose to advertise their property in an unconventional way, which benefited. Instead of hiring a real-estate photographer, the couple wanted to showcase the property as much as possible, so they engaged Sotheby’s real estate section to take the photos. The crew expected just another day at work, but they were in for a surprise. When they stepped through the main door, the first thing they noticed was the open and expansive lobby. This area of the residence was well-lit, with basic white walls, strong lighting, and a polished wooden floor. But this was only the start of the crew’s adventure; they had more shocks in store for them.

From the Foyer to the Master Suite

After photographing the entryway, the camera crew walked on to Tom and Giselle’s master suite, which would put many 5-star Swiss hotels to shame. The room features a high-pitched ceiling, see-through windows, and a fireplace. Even when the highly illuminated electric chandelier is switched off, the space is well lit. The French windows linking the balcony to the master suite offered a breathtaking view of the estate and the Brookline Country Club golf course. Giselle definitely chose the ideal room for the master suite! After completing the master suite, the couple invited the crew to photograph their children’s rooms.

The Kids are Alright

The three Brady siblings shared two rooms, which were creatively designed to incorporate play places for the children. The loft spaces are strategically situated above the doorway, requiring the children to climb a ladder to reach their play area. This is a very clever concept because the children cannot create a mess of their rooms while playing. The Brady’s laundry room, located below the children’s room downstairs, was somewhat surprising, since it housed four washer-dryers piled together. With the athlete owner of the house and three small children, there was surely a lot of washing to be done over the years!

A Comfy Living Room

After the washroom, the team walked to the living room, where they were surprised with a breathtaking sight. The living room’s roof was inclined, similar to the master suite, and it had three sides of open glass windows. There was a television on top of the fireplace. The living room’s center was decorated with cream-colored couches and wooden lights. The kitchen sits parallel to the living area and has all of the amenities you’d expect from a modern kitchen. The shelves and cabinets were tastefully adorned, and the room’s focal point was a window that faced the dinner table. However, this is not where the Bradys generally ate their meals.

Table for Eight

The Brady family ate the majority of their meals in their large dining room, which was connected to both the living room and the kitchen. The gorgeous round Oakwood table could seat nine people, offering ample eating room when they hosted guests, many of whom were VIPs and celebrities. Many of these guests came over for business, which was largely conducted in Tom’s home office. The office is small in comparison to the other rooms, yet it appears to be an ideal setting for a private conversation. The area is well-lit by a lofty window behind Tom’s study table, and the wall cupboards are adorned with memorabilia from Tom Brady’s football career. Definitely the ideal location for the Super Bowl champion to unwind and rejuvenate.

Taking a Peek Below

So far, the crew had only thrown the ground and first floors of the mansion. On their way up and down, they noticed a couple of tasteful paintings on the walls and took pictures of them. Before proceeding to the rest of the home, the crew wanted to take a look at the basemen, who had yet another surprise. Instead of having a conventional basement, Tom and Giselle decided to convert it into three additional portions of their home, one of which was a personal cinema with a full home theatre system. The basement theatre has a tiny kitchen and bar area to ensure that no one has to travel above for anything.

The Kids Got Their Own Play Space

After the home theater, the second half of the basement was converted into a large playroom for the Brady children. The playroom is simply equipped, with a few wooden pieces of furniture arranged around a large white surface where the children can scribble. The wine cellar, which was attached to the children’s playroom, housed the couple’s vintage wine collection. Brady and Giselle had their own play area in the shape of a fully equipped gym with everything a super athlete like Tom Brady required to work out at home. It included a sauna for the couple.
