Cobra Kai premiered on YouTube Red before being picked up by Netflix for a fourth season with a larger production budget. Billy Zabka and Ralph Macchio reprise their roles from the popular Karate Kid franchise. The comedy-drama mix concentrates on Zabka’s character, Johnny Lawrence, the proprietor of the Cobra Kai dojo, rather than Macchio’s character, as in the films. It also takes place thirty years after the events of the films.

As everyone knows, the original Dynasty, a primetime soap opera, was a hit in the 1980s before it was cancelled. The contemporary version of the show, starring Elizabeth Gillies, Grant Show, Rafael de la Fuente, and others, appears to be doing well as well. The CW decided to renew Dynasty for a fifth season after a drama-filled fourth season aired. The announcement was made in the spring of 2021, approximately a year after the third season finale aired. However, it was eventually decided that this would be the final episode of the show.
