It’s that time of year when networks decide whether or not to renew their TV shows. There is no shortage of options for what we may watch, from major cable channels like HBO and Disney to streaming services like Hulu and Netflix. And, with each season, production firms must determine if it is worthwhile to extend shows for another year. Cost, as expected, plays a significant part in selecting which TV shows remain on the air and which are canceled. The budget of a program must meet certain standards in order to pay expenses like as sets, writing, casting, and production. If the revenue from advertising or subscription services is insufficient, people engaged with the event may be out of luck.
