“The Mafia?!”, David exclaimed. “What have you got yourselves into?”, he asked. John turned away sheepishly, as a dejected Joan took a seat on a nearby chair. “We need that cash son, or the Mafia are going to come after me”, John explained. “They say I owe them $1.2 million, but if I can get them $1 million in cash, they will accept it”. David was in absolute shock. His entire world had come crashing down. Was he meant to live in pain for his last few months because of a mess his parents got themselves into? Was it crime-related? There were too many unanswered questions. David couldn’t understand and demanded answers.
