RICHARD CHAMBERLAIN – 87 YEARS OLD
Richard Chamberlain is most known for two things: playing a teenage heartthrob doctor in the successful series Dr. Kildare and assuming the Jason Bourne character long before Matt Damon did in the modern blockbuster adaptation of the Bourne narrative. However, it was Dr. Kildare who provided him with the springboard. He exploited it to get parts in movies like Shogun, Julius Caesar, and a remake of The Three Musketeers, which also had a sequel. He’s also a fairly good vocalist, with a song called All I Have To Do Is Dream. He is now working on a documentary titled Spirit of Evolution.
GENE HACKMAN – 91 YEARS OLD
Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman are best friends. They are also Hollywood legends who are well-liked by their contemporaries. Despite this, both attended Pasadena Playhouse acting school and were labeled as the least likely to thrive in the industry. They, unsurprisingly, proved a few folks incorrect. Hackman created a name for himself in films such as Bonnie and Clyde, The French Connection, and the western Unforgiven. He is particularly well-known for his portrayal of Superman’s arch-nemesis Lex Luthor in the Superman films. He has received two Oscars, four Golden Globe Awards, and two Bafta Awards before retiring and focusing on fishing and writing. Pursuit, his most recent work, was published in 2013.
