JANIS PAIGE – 98 YEARS OLD
Janis Paige is a well-known actress, but she began her career as a singer at the Hollywood Canteen, Military Club in Los Angeles. She waited a long time before breaking out, initially appearing in low-budget musicals. All of that changed when she got to Broadway and starred in Pajama Game and Remains To Be Seen. She returned to Hollywood as a more regarded actress, appearing in films such as Silk Stockings and Please Don’t Eat the Daisies, among others. But, unable to resist the draw of a live audience, she returned to Broadway in 1963. She appeared in the 2021 film Journey to Royal: A WWII Rescue Mission.

Clint Eastwood is revered and adored for popularizing the anti-hero. Tough individuals, such as The Man With No Name in the Dollar Trilogy and San Francisco Police Department inspector Harry Calahan or Dirty Harry. These roles not only catapulted him to stardom, but also made him threatening in real life. But he may not be as tough as we imagine, and he does have a caring side, as evidenced by the successful films he’s directed, like the Oscar-winning Unforgiven and Million Dollar Baby. Eastwood will feature in and direct the upcoming film Cry Macho.
