JACKIE MASON – 89 YEARS OLD
Consider this: Jackie Mason almost didn’t become a comic at all. He used to be a pious guy, a Jewish Rabbi in North Carolina who delivered jokes. His sermons became so well-known that individuals from various faiths came to his synagogue to hear him preach. He followed a career in comedy after his father died. He has a one-man act called The World According to Me, for which he was nominated for a Grammy. He also has a show called Jackie Mason On Broadway, which has earned him two Emmys, a Tony, and an Ace Award.
ARLENE DAHL – 95 YEARS OLD
Arlene Dahl is one of the last surviving actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood. She is most known for her role in the classic adventure film Journey To The Center Of The Earth. She also got more roles in the 1950s and 1960s, but she eventually decided to pursue a career in business. Her business activities revolved around the beauty industry. But that didn’t last long, and she finally obtained a job at the ad agency Kenyon & Eckhardt, where she rose to the position of vice president. She finally returned to acting after declaring bankruptcy, regaining her footing with a modest role on One Life To Live that blossomed into a long-running role.
