LEX LUGER – 62 YEARS OLD
Lex Luger was a pivotal figure in WWE’s New Generation Era. In reality, when Hulk Hogan left WCW in 1993, Luger was called in to replace his All American Gimmick. He would leave WWE for WCW, where he would defeat Hulk Hogan for the company’s championship. Luger has also wrestled for ECW and Davie Crocket Promotions. He has also held several titles, including tag team champion, World Heavyweight Champion, and United States Champion. He is currently back at WWE, working on the company’s wellness program.
ROBERT ENGLUND – 71 YEARS OLD
Robert Englund’s character, Freddy Kruger, is deeply imprinted in his psyche. It would be remarkable if he responded to both names. Of course, this is the role that made him famous, with fans even mourning the franchise relaunch because Jackie Earle Haley did not play the character as well as he did. The issue with being Typecast is that he never received credit for other films such as The Mangler and 1989’s Phantom Of The Opera. But, at the very least, he made a fortune as Freddy, appearing in eight films, including Freddie vs. Jason, a partnership with the Friday the 13th franchise. Englund will appear in the upcoming season of Netflix’s Stranger Things.
