KIM NOVAK – 88 YEARS OLD
Kim Novak was on a modeling trip for a refrigerator manufacturer in Chicago in 1953 when she chose to apply for a role as a movie extra. But her audition for an extra turned into much more when she was approached by an agent and signed a long-term agreement with Columbia Pictures. The studio desired a response to 20th Century Fox’s Marilyn Monroe. What they received was an acclaimed performance in Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, as well as blockbuster roles in films starring Frank Sinatra and Kirk Douglas. She retired in 1966, having received two Golden Globes and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Classics such as Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On, Breathless, High School Confidential, and the smash single Great Balls of Fire are among them. For his abilities and hard ethic, he received a Lifetime Achievement Grammy Award and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A documentary on him is now being shot and is scheduled to be released in 2021.
