PAM GRIER – 72 YEARS OLD
Pam Grier rose to prominence in the 1970s with roles in films such as Foxy Brown, Coffy, and Women in Cages. After appearing in Quentin Tarantino’s 1997 crime film Jackie Brown, she was branded the “first female action star.” Grier has also found success on television, appearing in The L Word and Bless This Mess. She’s now working on her autobiography, Foxy, which will be published in 2021. Grier is one of a number of celebrities who have never married. She defeated cervical cancer in 1988 and has been in remission ever since.
HOWARD STERN – 67 YEARS OLD
As a nationally syndicated program, The Howard Stern Show grew in popularity. While attending Boston University, the show’s creator obtained his first radio gig. By 1985, he had begun a two-decade run at the WXRK FM station in New York. From 1986 to 2006, his namesake show was broadcast on terrestrial radio before moving to Sirius XM satellite radio. Howard Stern’s contract with SiriusXM was extended for another five years in 2020. Photography is one of his interests, and his work has appeared in WHIRL other Hamptons magazines. He is perhaps best known these days for his job as a judge on America’s Got Talent.
