Nearly Done
Tommy was almost finished with his creative writing master’s degree. He aspired to be like his father in every way. He was raised on his father’s stories and wants to share them with his own children as well as create new ones. But then the lawyers told him the truth.
The Truth
Two weeks had gone since his father’s passing. With the money they received, his brother at least paid for him to attend the funeral, which he did. He was about to receive a visit from a lawyer, so it wasn’t quite finished. He answered the fateful knock on his door to find a man in a suit with a wolf-grinned face. Tommy was informed by him that his father had only left him the automobile and that his two brothers received everything else. He felt astounded.
