He Looked Up To Him
Tommy has always viewed his father as a hero throughout his life. He was polite and charming, therefore there was never a time when he let him down. That would never alter, in his opinion. Due to his tight bond with his father, a tragic tragedy would occur too soon and cause him to lose his greatest friend.

He Looked Up To Him
Terrible News
His closest friend was Tommy’s father. He knew it was cliché, but he always believed he could depend on him for anything. His father’s support for him never wavered. One day, Tommy received a call from his siblings. The worst news he had ever received arrived out of nowhere: his father had died.

Terrible News
Bringing Them Together
Tommy believed that any animosity between him and his brothers would vanish once he had the news in his possession. He thought they would band together in the face of such sorrow. But Tommy only recognized the best in his brothers. He didn’t know what they had in store for him until he saw them once more.

Bringing Them Together
Rushing Home
They asked him to go home right away. They were to reside on their father’s property, at his desire. Tommy left for home as soon as he finished work. His brothers had already read his final will and testament, so they set up a trap for him.

Rushing Home
Finally
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of rushing through traffic, Tommy arrived at his neighborhood and sat down. He was heading toward his father’s house after coming to the end of his road. Although it seemed like time was moving slowly, he had no idea what awaited him at home when he got there.

Finally
Their Devious Plan
When he got home, the brothers weren’t feeling raw or emotional; instead, they were beaming and smirking. They explained to him that they were grinning because his father was no longer there to protect him before he was unceremoniously kicked out.

Their Devious Plan
The Car
The fact that they wouldn’t even disclose the will’s contents to him didn’t help. If he desired something, he could take his father’s unfinished project from the garage. He looked into the garage while in tears. Was his father’s care shared exclusively by him? He was determined to finish his father’s project automobile after seeing it.

The Car
Not Feeling Good
Despite everything his brothers had done to him, the death of his father still caused him the most anguish. His car was being moved to a different location on a truck that had been scheduled. He was able to find a rental home to rent because to his funds. He trudged on, fixing the automobile as he went.

Not Feeling Good
A Good Man
Tommy Hawthorne’s father was the greatest man he had ever met. He had the greatest love for his three sons. Tommy’s father grew to love him even more after Tommy was born, despite the hatred of his brothers. That day also saw the birth of Tommy and tragedy. His brothers will never forget the encounter.

A Good Man
A Terrible Loss
In the same moment, it was a day of joy and darkness. Sadly, Tommy’s mother passed away as he was being born. His family’s devastation was understandable. Tommy entered his father’s life and provided him joy in the middle of his anguish.

A Terrible Loss
One Final Gift
He told Tommy as he grew up, “At least she gave me one final gift before leaving his earth.” He was without a doubt the favorite. But due to two more issues, he and his siblings never got along. The elder siblings were resentful and envious of Tommy because he received the majority of their father’s attention. They were envious of the kid despite being old enough to take care of themselves.

One Final Gift
Another Factor
The other reason why his siblings hated him so much was that they held him responsible for the passing of his mother. They disliked him despite the fact that it was completely out of his control. However, he was also considering other issues that had nothing to do with his siblings. If the will was accurate, he questioned why his father left him the car.

Another Factor
Keeping The House
The house and the most of the assets, according to his brothers, are being kept. They claimed that only Tommy needed to do to get the automobile into the garage. It truly perplexed him. Did his father really leave him that little money, or were they lying? Why would his father leave his siblings with everything else? But when the truth would come out, he would cry.

Keeping The House
Growing Up Accomplished
Tommy remembered his early years growing up with his family. He recalled that his brothers were notorious for getting into problems at school or with their father. The only person with ambition was him. To describe his siblings as problematic kids would be an understatement. They didn’t appear to take themselves or their life all that seriously, either. Then he recalled the greatest betrayal his brother had committed to his father.

Growing Up Accomplished
Dropping Out
Tommy remembered how his siblings decided to stay at home rather than put in hard work and drop out of high school. They made the choice to rely on their father’s finances. Because they were his sons, he had no choice but to support them all financially as a successful writer. However, Tommy was distinct from them.

Dropping Out
Higher Education
Tommy worked hard in high school and is now enrolled in a top institution. He didn’t depend on his father’s money the way his brothers did because of this. For that, his father admired him. Even though his brothers were lazing around on his father’s riches, it pushed the two closer together. Why then do you leave him with so little?

Higher Education
Nearly Done
Tommy was almost finished with his creative writing master’s degree. He aspired to be like his father in every way. He was raised on his father’s stories and wants to share them with his own children as well as create new ones. But then the lawyers told him the truth.

Nearly Done
The Truth
Two weeks had gone since his father’s passing. With the money they received, his brother at least paid for him to attend the funeral, which he did. He was about to receive a visit from a lawyer, so it wasn’t quite finished. He answered the fateful knock on his door to find a man in a suit with a wolf-grinned face. Tommy was informed by him that his father had only left him the automobile and that his two brothers received everything else. He felt astounded.

The Truth
Why?
This left Tommy with a lot of unanswered concerns. He questioned his father’s decision to simply leave him a partially built automobile. What was his strategy? Was his father actually the person he believed him to be? He had to come across the solutions he was seeking. But he would have to travel a far, arduous way to find them.

Why
A Shelby Cobra
Tommy’s brothers all discovered the Shelby Cobra when they were old enough to notice it, so it had been in the garage for years. Its inside was mostly missing, and its paint and frame were both rusted. So why would Tommy’s father abandon him in such a way? It was no longer a lovely car, albeit it had once been. He was missing the point, though.

A Shelby Cobra
Always Worked Hard
Tommy was baffled as to how his father was able to treat him in this way. He’d always put forth a lot of effort to make the old guy proud, even adopting his career path by becoming an author. He had always thought of his father as a real-life legend. Tommy still holds him in the highest regard even though the effect parents leave on their children sometimes fades as they get older.

Always Worked Hard
Misunderstood?
But perhaps Tommy had viewed his father’s connection incorrectly. Still, he made an effort to understand everything. Maybe one of his siblings was aware of something he wasn’t. After the way they had treated him, it hurt him to talk to one of them, but he had nowhere else to turn. He had a chat since he was at a loss for words.

Misunderstood
Blood Brothers
Tommy went home with his brothers to chat after the meeting with the attorney. He hoped that at least one of them would volunteer to pay for his tuition while he sought to solve the rest of his issues. Renting out a place presently meant that financing a pricey master’s degree would be challenging. Would his brothers at least be sympathetic and lend a hand?

Blood Brothers
Cold
Although he only had kind thoughts for his brothers as he followed them into the house, he observed that they seemed distant from him. Naturally, Tommy didn’t think about it too much. But he would quickly discover that he wasn’t an expert. Soon, his brothers would expose the truth to him.

Cold
The New Favorites
Tommy attempted to take a seat in the living room in his favorite chair, but his brothers told him to stand. For the most time, they had kept their dislike of him under wraps. They didn’t want him to feel at ease in the home where he had grown up. He was obviously there for a reason, and they would shortly expel him once more.

The New Favorites
Furious
He could tell they had already begun spending the money now that the mansion was in their names and they had 99% of their father’s inheritance. They had also purchased various video game systems in addition to replacing their old television with a plasma model. Such a financial waste is something his father would never have approved of. He was indignant.

Furious
A Wet Dirt Party
He was done listening, he thought. While leaving his childhood home, he saw strangers entering the building. He observed as a steady stream of young, appealing people walked up the driveway. His brothers were already having a party even though the dirt on his father’s grave wasn’t yet completely dried. Tommy regretted his action as soon as he entered the room to reprimand them.

A Wet Dirt Party
Get Out!
From the top of the stairs, one of his brothers yelled at him to leave their home after spotting him. The second brother, who was amusing the visitors, overheard the uproar. Tommy has never before been disrespectful to his brothers. But he was unaware of their potential. They were about to sever their relationship for good.

Get Out!
A Rifle
After hearing the disturbance, the brother who was nearby emerged with a hunting rifle and trained it on Tommy before requesting that he leave. He tried to keep the rifle on Tommy and hiccuped, “Dad’s no longer here to play favorites,” as he stated. “Get out!” Tommy would never be able to forget his brother’s recent actions.

A Rifle
They Laugh At It
Tommy retreated from the house. At him, everyone was laughing. He returned home, feeling lonely and dejected, and went into his garage to see what his grandfather had left for him. He found it difficult to accept the death of his father. The moment I entered the garage and saw the automobile, everything became real. Any of it Tommy wasn’t prepared for.

They Laugh At It
Men Cry Too
He didn’t cry or sob, just let the tears roll. His arms would be wide open if this was what his father wanted him to have. Although it wasn’t much, he was aware that his father had some sort of elaborate plan for him. In contrast to his unfaithful brothers, he continued to trust him in the afterlife. In search of any hints, he combed over every component contained in boxes.

Men Cry Too
Alone Again
He chose to open the driver’s side door after his initial search turned up nothing. Tommy sat in the driver’s seat with his hands on the wheel, alone once more. Once more, tears blurred his sight as loss weighed heavily on his heart and mind. He was shocked that his brothers had twice ejected him from their home. He wished his father had been present to see what was happening. He was unaware of what was in the automobile with him, though.

Alone Again
The Glove Box
Ten minutes had passed while the older guy sobbed in the driver’s seat before he realized what was happening. He wiped his eyes and surveyed the vehicle’s interior. He wept for his father and hoped the suffering would end soon. At that point, he noticed something in the glove box and reached inside to remove it.

The Glove Box
An Envelope
The sheet was made of yellowish paper. An envelope with dog-collar ends and an aged appearance. Tommy pulled it out of the glove box out of curiosity. It was obvious that it had aged over time. The once-cracked paper had a delicate, easily-tearable feel to it. Because it was from his father, it seemed to have far more value than anything else. What was within, though?

An Envelope
Ripping It Open
He had a terrible day, and he was grateful for any diversion that would help him forget his suffering. He was aware that the envelope had to contain something significant. Before reading, he wiped away his tears and tore open the letter. But what he witnessed was unbelievable.

Ripping It Open
An Old Letter
The letter’s date indicated that it was a few years old. The writing was also done by his father. It explained the depth of Tommy’s father’s affection for him and his brothers. But everything wasn’t sunshine and rainbows. Suddenly, his father’s statements took on a more somber tone. Tommy was to be warned about what had already occurred, he thought.

An Old Letter
Fears
However, it also conveyed the old man’s worries about Tommy’s brothers’ futures due to their risky way of living. He was relieved that his father recognized the same warning signs. But it was too late now that he was gone. Even still, the letter’s conclusion contained further information and words that made Tommy hunch forward.

Fears
Call This Number
The final sentence of the letter mentioned that Tommy’s father had left him $60,000 in a sealed envelope in the trunk of the car. Along with the cash, he also left Tommy some plans and asked him to start a personal project. His heart melted as tears ran down his face. He was confident that his father wouldn’t fail him. However, the letter wasn’t quite complete.

Call This Number
Special Car
“I only left you the car and this bit of money because I knew you didn’t need me as much as they did. They aren’t like you and I and wouldn’t survive without my money. But there’s something special about the car.” He was just becoming more perplexed by the letter; what was his father talking about? Still, he chose to carry out his father’s final instructions.

Special Car
Fix It Up
“Fix this beauty up,” the letter read. “There is a private auction in London. Take it there when you are done, and call this number.” Even in death, he could not fail his father. He had to pay it forward as his father had never let him down. The least he could do was that. But the message’s hidden meaning would alter his life irrevocably.

Fix It Up
What He Needs
As he read, Tommy rubbed his head. His father asked him to fix an automobile that was nearly beyond repair and drive it to London. He inhaled deeply, thinking that it was possible now that the fieldwork for his school was over. In addition, he required something to divert his attention from his difficulties. Maybe he needed this project after all.
