While the minutes passed, Sarah was still absent. John was aware that he needed to swallow his pride. After waiting for another five minutes, he lastly heard Sarah returning. John noticed that she had reddened her eyes as she sat down once more. She cried? John had an inside thought.

Sarah groaned and cast her gaze to the ground. She twitched her fingers uncomfortably and avoided looking John in the eye. John then started things out. “Sarah, listen… I have to ask you something,” he began. Sarah raised her head and met John’s eyes squarely. Sarah groaned, “No,” “I have to tell you something first.”
