Upon realizing the serious state of health, it became imperative to seek medical attention as soon as possible. Grandfather Francesca and she both realized they had to move quickly. We brainstormed methods to help throughout the ensuing conversations with Sophie and the guide. They were racing against time, and every second mattered. It became a race against time to find a way to link this hidden realm with outside medical services.

The tribe’s health has suffered as a result of exposure to the elements, a lack of medical services, and restricted access to clean water. Living remote from modern amenities and medical treatment, the Andersons and the tribe faced many problems that Francesca and her grandfather witnessed personally.
