Matthew Perry knew how to shake off an accidental blooper in Friends

  • TV show: Friends
  • Year: 1997
  • Mistake: Chandler Bing wasn’t supposed to hit his head on the cabinet

It leads to a somewhat amusing sequence in which Chandler tries to dash across the room only to realize he’s chained to the filing cabinet. Believe it or not, the drawer pulling out and smacking him in the head wasn’t in the screenplay, but it made the entire sequence that much funnier.

The tears in Gravity don’t act the way they would in real space

  • Movie: Gravity
  • Year: 2013
  • Mistake: Ryan Stone’s tears float off her face

The science fiction film ‘Gravity’ was released in 2013, several decades after mankind first left our atmosphere and experienced no gravity. Sandra Bullock, one of the film’s stars, appears in an emotional sequence as her character Ryan Stone. Ryan is seen crying in this scene, and the camera focuses on the tears as they fall down her cheeks. What is the issue? Because of the extremely high surface tension in space, the tears would have instead clung to Ryan’s face.
