These Are The Best Looks From The 2023 Met Gala

Published on 05/02/2023

Celebs always gain attention for their outfits at the Met Gala. Whether this attention is for ‘Wow, look how great they look!’ or ‘Wow, what on earth are they wearing?’, is a rather common debate. Check out what celebs wore at Met Gala 2023 and make the ‘Wow’ or ‘Woah’ decision for yourself…

A$AP Rocky and Rihanna

Unsurprisingly, Rihanna arrived to the Met Gala quite late—and stylishly.

She arrived with A$AP Rocky, and the two attracted attention with their good looks.

Rihanna wore a special Valentino outfit that included a ballgown-style dress and a voluminous hooded cape adorned in enormous, white camellias, which became famous under Karl Lagerfeld’s aesthetic direction at Chanel. She added some whimsical eyelash accents to a pair of white-rimmed, cat-eye sunglasses.

A$AP Rocky stood at her side, decked up in a long Gucci kilt over a pair of crystal-studded pants, a white shirt, a black tie, and a black suit jacket with a glimmering brooch. The dress, according to Harper’s Bazaar, was an homage to one that Lagerfeld donned to end a Chanel fashion show in 2004.

The feathery halter neckline on Lopez’s custom Ralph Lauren dress had a daring cutout on the bodice, which was joined to the skirt by two pieces of cloth.

The dress’s black train contrasted with the light-pink skirt. The outfit was finished off by a black hat with a delicate structural design. And as the actor walked the red carpet, two trailing pieces of black fabric formed a dramatic train.

Lily James

Tamara Ralph Couture created the black leather dress that Lily James wore. The dress’s quilted bodice featured a Chanel camellia embellishment as its distinctive accent. She accessorized with diamond jewelry and gloves made of black leather and mesh.

Cardi B

The rapper nodded to Lagerfeld’s several black outfits with her Chenpeng Studio dress.

The dress had a tight bustier that resembled a shirt with a tie and a heavy ballgown-style skirt covered in huge black rosettes. The top was embellished with crystals for added glitz.

Tems

Tems’ Robert Wun dress provided a play on a suit.

The dress had a low-waisted black skirt that flowed out behind her and a strapless, tight black bodice. Like the collar of a shirt, the cloth at the top of the skirt folded down about her hips.

The gown’s neckline and detachable sleeves were adorned with feathers, and a matching black headpiece with structural, branch-like tendrils gave her appearance more height and fullness.

Burna Boy

The singer showed up at the Met Gala wearing a specially designed Burberry outfit that had a matching jacket and pants.

A piece of cloth stretched out behind him to form a train that added flair, and both had a blue and black plaid design.

Russell Westbrook

The outfit Westbrook wore to the Met Gala was by Bode. It was made up of patterned slacks and a cardigan with floral buttons that he sported without a shirt.

The outfit was finished off with a modest bow embellishment on a pair of black loafers.

Skepta

Also sporting custom Burberry was Skepta. His attire was black and blue like Burna Boy’s, except it was a striped suit.

He completed the ensemble with a matching blue-and-white blanket slung over his shoulders.

Zac Posen

Posen’s three-piece Duca Sartoria tuxedo had a smart-casual vibe. He wore a pale-yellow waistcoat, a bow tie that matched it, a jacket with tails, casual pants, and a brooch to finish the ensemble.

The structure of the outfit is made eye-catching by the jacket’s higher cut than the vest. Posen
