This tattoo is a tribute to her grandmother who passed away after battling cancer for a long time. In 2012, Rihanna revealed her then new ink on Instagram. She wrote, “Goddess Isis – Complete Woman – Model for future generations – #GRANGRANDOLLY – always in and on my heart #1love.”

While Selena Gomez only has a few tattoos, the one she likes showing off is the ink on her back, below her right shoulder. The four-inch inscription is in Arabic and means “Love Yourself First.” It was done by Bang Bang McCurdy, a New York tattoo artist. Some of Selena’s tattoos include a musical note, a Roman numeral of her mother’s birth year and the phrase “God Who Strengthens Me.”
