As time passed, the communication between Laura and Matt became limited to the Christmas cards they sent each year. They used to see each other every day, but new things popped up. They made other friends in their own schools. However, we still believe that their friendship was special!

Growing Up
The years went on. With it, the Christmas cards started to get less sentimental until they stopped going there altogether. No need to point fingers here, since they had to focus on the present instead. The two of them were simply growing up and away from each other. This was all part of maturing.
