Janis Paige – Now 100 years old
Janis Paige is best known for her musical theater and television performances. In the early 1950s, she chose to quit Hollywood and pursue a career on Broadway instead. She returned to the movies six weeks later, first in Silk Stockings and then in Bachelor in Paradise, opposite Bob Hope. Janis most recently made waves in 2017 when she posted an article alleging that Alfred Bloomingdale attempted to force himself on her when she was only 22 years old. As a result, she had vocal chord injury in the early 2000s and had to spend a lengthy time recovering.
