Stapler Plates
The anvil is what you call the metal plate on the stapler. Flip the stapler upside down and turn the wheel to turn on the “temporary staple” mode. This lets you staple papers but with the arms pushed outward. What makes this different from the regular setting is that it is easier to take off the staple.
