Shirt Loops
What are those loops on shirts for anyway? Apparently, this is something that started in the Navy. Of course, it is not like they have ample closet space on ships and boats. Sailors used to put up their shirts on hooks and nails instead. College kids from the olden days used to do the same thing at the gym!
Colored Toothpaste Squares
There is a good chance that you will see a colored block at the bottom of your toothpaste tube. It might be red, black, green, or blue. What are they for? These things are called “eye marks” and are important because the assembly line machines use them as cues to cut and fold the packaging accordingly.
