The Promise
Peter was rushing to open the door, as she observed. It was the man who delivers pizza. When Peter finished paying for the pizza, she noticed her daughter racing in its direction. Then she heard something odd that Peter had said. “No, sweetie. Not yet for us, pizza. Do you still recall your pledge to Daddy? You can’t break that pledge right now, can you? Daddy is going to be furious. Come on, let’s undress now,” Peter murmured.

Mandy straightened her chair at work. What had she heard moments ago? “How about we get undressed together?” she asked herself. “What does that signify?” Her heart was racing so quickly that she felt like it might burst from her chest as she thought aloud. What was her spouse doing? Mandy suddenly wished she had installed cameras throughout the house.
