Teresa wasn’t the kind to feel much pity for Bjorn, but she couldn’t help but feel a twinge of sympathy in her heart for him. He was certainly as bad as they come, yet it appeared as though he had paid a significant karmic price in a very public manner. Teresa was able to express her regret to Bjorn after a little period of reflection. Bjorn’s cheeks were flushed with relief as he realized what had happened.

Bjorn vowed that he would cover the entire cost of the surgery and that he would even contact his father to inquire about how his other family members had dealt with the condition in the past.
