Frank Zappa
Frank Zappa, a nonconforming free-form improviser who died of lung cancer in 1993, was a pioneer of nonconforming free-form improvisation. Zappa was a prolific musician who released more than 60 albums as a solo artist and with his band, Mothers of Invention. Zappa is a self-taught guitarist who is widely considered as one of the twentieth century’s most influential guitarists. Zappa later conducted orchestras and released jazz and classical music CDs in his senior years.

Yngwie Malmsteen, born Lars Johan Yngve Lannerbäck in 1963, gained to prominence in the 1980s for his neoclassical metal sound. Yngwie Malmsteen is one of the most prolific performers working today, with 20 studio albums under his belt. He signed with Mascot Records in 2018 and shows no signs of slowing down.
