At this point, there was nothing else for him to do but wait for the instructor’s response. He turned off his laptop and stared straight ahead while a flurry of thoughts went through his head. It was necessary for him to occupy his mind with something else for the remainder of the day so that he would not become overly preoccupied with the email.
