As the flight continued, Malcolm kept an eye on Laura. He kept turning around to see what she was up to. She was constantly muttering to herself and appeared to be a thousand miles away. Malcolm decided to address his concerns with the airline as the plane touched down in Fort Lauderdale. He approached a representative and expressed his concern about allowing mentally ill people to travel without proper supervision.

The representative listened carefully and expressed sympathy for Malcolm’s concerns. She explained that the airline had protocols in place to accommodate passengers who were experiencing mental health issues. They offered assistance and support whenever possible, but due to privacy laws, they couldn’t disclose personal information or require constant supervision unless the passenger or a legal guardian specifically requested it.
