Laura Jarrett

Born in Chicago Illinois, Laura Jarrett had close ties to politics from the beginning since her mother served as senior advisor to former President Barack Obama. Jarrett graduated from Chicago High School and went on to attend Harvard University, where she obtained a law degree. She co-anchors CNN’s Early Start together with Christine Romans. Jarrett used to be a correspondent covering the Justice Department. She worked as a litigation attorney before she joined CNN.
