Tahzeen Ahmad
Born in Pakistan, Tahzeen Ahmad had academic parents. Job opportunities and family travels took them back and forth between Britain and Pakistan. Ahmad graduated from the University of London and Weald College. Until her untimely passing in November 2019, she worked for both the BBC and London-based MSNBC affiliates as a co-host and anchor of special interest programming. Ahmad succumbed to cancer, and her contributions and talent to the industry will definitely be missed.
Poppy Harlow
A native of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Poppy Harlow attended the Blake Preparatory school and also Columbia University, where she obtain her degree in political science. While still in college, she interned for different CBS news affiliates and set her sights on anchoring for programs on prime time television. She got her big break when CNN offered her to anchor several shows, including New Day, CNN International, and CNN Newsroom. She continues to be a solid and stable presence at the network even today.
