It is incredible to witness someone maintain their balance on one leg. It’s quite amusing to see someone lean back and attempt to balance oneself on one leg while standing. When it comes to athletic ability and grace, Anais Morand has gone above and beyond the call of duty, having either invented a new dance or mastered the art of balance on the ice. Anais Morand was genuinely attempting to regain her equilibrium after a fall. Her instincts kicked in, and she made the classic “I’m gonna crash” look just before she tumbled to the ground for the first time. It’s just that some things are more amusing when they’re captured at the perfect moment.

It’s not always about the failure; sometimes it’s all about the comic timing of a photograph. Taylor Pischke is a female volleyball player from Canada, and this is her picture. Aside from the fact that she is usually listed in lists of the world’s most beautiful athletes, she is also a tremendously accomplished athlete. She has seven Canadian national championships to her credit! You really can’t beat the intense focus she has on her face right now, during the Pan American Games. She’s keeping her gaze fixed on the reward at hand.
