She was rushed into the emergency room once she arrived at the hospital. The doctors informed them that her situation was critical and that they would do everything possible to assist her. Unfortunately, the infection won this battle after hours of fighting her symptoms. Taylor, it turned out, had developed pneumonia as a result of the flu’s effects. She died on the 5th of January.

Her family was inconsolably upset. Everything they did for several days after the event was mechanical. It was as if they had been transported to another world. A dimension that Taylor was unaware of. They knew she was alive, so this couldn’t be the real dimension. How can someone who was alive only a short time ago be gone forever? It couldn’t possibly be true.
