Another thing that you should avoid buying at the dollar store would be dishwasher pods. They offer them for 2 pods for a dollar, but Walmart and Target offer 14 pods for $4.50 to $5.50. You are probably smart enough to figure out which one is a better deal.

Sandwich Bags
Sandwich bags are generally useful but what are you going to do if they can’t close properly? The dollar store ones are worse because they are made using cheap plastic which tears easily. They do not seal all the way either. Even though you will need to spend a dollar or two more at the supermarket, you will feel a huge difference with them.
