It is not all that rare for a dog to eat grass. Unfortunately, this usually means that there is something lacking in their diet. It is either that or they hope to digest their food better since grass is full of fibers. Just watch out because it might also mean intestinal worms or dehydration. Perhaps they want to obtain water from the grass. You should bring your dog to a vet as soon as you notice this happening too much.

If they are aware that doing this will bother you and make you give them attention, they will do this to get some affection.
