She Started To Work
It started out like any other day at work. Delonda didn’t despise her job, but it wasn’t her passion either. She had recently completed a degree in French literature at the University of Tampa, and her ambition was to work as a researcher, but for the time being, she was content to pay her bills.
She arrived at McDonald’s, dressed in her uniform, and prepared for a full day at work. Delonda was the manager and had to deal with a variety of situations, but today would be a little different.

She worked the morning shift, and they were in a high-traffic area. This meant that a large number of individuals frequented the restaurant for breakfast and lunch on a daily basis.
She’d grown accustomed to the familiar faces that would stop by on a regular basis over the course of a few months. Every day seemed to blend into the next, but today was different.
