A Rising Star To Keep An Eye On
Decker’s star was rising as a result of her appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated, and people were starting to take notice. With two future film roles, the ambitious actress was named to MTV’s “Breakout Stars to Watch Out For” list in 2011. Some more well-known names appeared on the list that year, even though they were still considered emerging stars at the time of publication. Decker was joined on stage by Asa Butterfield, Lily Collins, Claire Foy, Dave Franco, Greta Gerwig, Rooney Mara, and Zoe Kravitz, among many others. 2011 was a year with a lot of celebrity appearances!
Simply Go With It
As a result of her uncredited modeling appearances in 2006 and 2009, Brooklyn Decker was cast in a significant movie part. Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman appeared with the model in the 2011 Adam Sandler-produced rom-com, Just Go With It, directed by Adam Sandler. The film was based on the 1969 film Cactus Flower, which was based on a French play of the same name. In the film, Brooklyn plays Palmer Dodge, a sixth-grade math teacher who becomes smitten with Sandler’s character, Palmer. Unfortunately, the film was a failure, and it was awarded the Golden Raspberry Awards for Worst Actor and Worst Director, among other honors.
