A particular Costco shopper compared the price of rice at Costco to that of a local Asian store. It was here she realized she was paying 35% more at Costco! Other investigations also saw significant price differences, with Costco always coming out as the more expensive option.

You won’t burn a hole in your wallet from getting Costco’s dried pasta, but there are definitely other stores to visit to get better value for money. If you compare Trader Joe’s pasta and Walmart’s to Costco, you will notice that both stores offer better discounts.
