Sometimes it can be difficult to remain spirited when working a 9-5 job every day of the week. It can be repetitive, feel menial and quite simply- boring. So how can you keep yourself entertained during these rough days? Well, take a leaf from the book of these slackers. They used creativity to subtly defy or cause trouble to those around them. Some of these mistakes might be seen as poor craftsmanship, or simply poor work; but that doesn’t stop them from being downright hilarious! Take a look for yourselves…

What was the constructionist thinking here? Did he not see the door right in front of him? Surely this can’t have been accidental, it is far more likely that they are having a practical joke. So if you were planning on entering, would you jump the hurdle? Or be exotic and do the limbo? Whatever the case, it requires some sort of athleticism to enter this room. Perhaps it is intentional, to keep out the elderly? Seems a little harsh.

Colorblindness Is No Laughing Matter
For the average person, this wouldn’t be such an issue. Naturally when we pick up a crayon, we don’t read the description of the color do we? We want yellow, we see the yellow and select it. However, for someone who is colorblind, this isn’t so straight forward. For a colorblind individual, many colors can all look the same, or at least shades of the same color. For them, it might be important to read which crayon is which. So with this in mind, the picture demonstrates quite the potential pickle for a colorblind person! All the crayons are listed as yellow! Is this a mistake? Possibly. Nonetheless, it could lead to quite a comical situation.

Calculator Of Nightmares
For some, the subject of Math can be daunting from the off. Numeracy doesn’t come naturally to all, but at least we know that we can count on our trusty calculations to do those tricky, or lengthy, sums that we just don’t want to mess up. Well, at least that was once the case. Look at this bizarre calculator! Instinctively, everyone has memorized where the numbers are situated on a calculator. Well this one messes that right up! You’ll be moving to press a 4 and inserting a 1! Your calculation will be instantly ruined. Only use this calculator if you want to spend longer doing sums, on account of how many times you’ll need to restart.

Genius Or Typo?
Creative writing is a complex task. Sometimes writers can be too clever for their own good, and not actually be understandable in their words. Is there some subtext you just don’t quite see? Does this simple-seeming straightforward sentence actually reference something else? Who can quite be sure. Much of it is down to personal interpretation. Is this the case here? Well, perhaps not. What seems like it could be a different language, implies that is simply a typo. A big one, at that. The headline starts with ‘heder goes here’. It seems as though the writer has intentionally removed the ‘a’. Is this a practical joke? Or are the subsequent words actually sounds that came from the basketballer mid-game? Who can really be sure.

Genius Or Typo
Poor Urban Planning
The landscape artist responsible for this mistake certainly needs to pursue other interests. What kind of person ensures that the sewer can’t actually take any of the rain water! It may as well not be there. It seems that everywhere in this picture is flooded part from the small area around the sewer entrance. Silly.

Poor Urban Planning
One For The Geographers
This one could easily slide if the wearer isn’t geographically aware. Being aware of maps is an important requirement for truly understanding world geography, and the person who designed this shirt is certainly no geographer. How this passed additional checks we will never know, but it is entirely the wrong continent on the shirt! Well, they do both begin with A; but that’s no excuse really.

One For The Geographers
Paradox
We can see that with this one, the sign displayer meant well. How often do you see a sign defying it’s own message though? Stating “Give cyclists space” while simultaneously blocking the bike lane is rather ridiculous. If the sign wasn’t there it would be less of a hazard to cyclists! At least the sign is on wheels, so it will be easy to rectify this situation.

Paradox
Defying Time-Restraints
Have you ever heard of someone claiming they will give 110% to something? I mean, this is physically impossible; seeing as how 100% is the maximum in this context. If you have 5 apples, and someone asks for all of your apples, you can’t physically give them 6 can you? 100% of your apples would be 5. This theory is quite relevant here. It is nice that this shop wants to be so welcoming and accommodating to their customers, but it just isn’t possible. If there are 7 days in a week, even if you wanted to be open for 9, it just isn’t possible. It is quite a spectacle however and we are sure the customers had a good giggle.

Defying Time Restraints
Sike!
This is one of the most audacious sike-attempts we’ve ever seen. It also doesn’t really make too much sense, this is certainly quite the prank. Where the chocolate was meant to cover the ice-cream and the cone is for holding, now your hand will get sticky and chocolatey, while the ice-cream is exposed? We’re sure it all tastes nice, but it just seems confusing.

Sike
Mix-Up
Isn’t it funny how misplacing just one word can have a profound impact on the meaning of the phrase? We can’t imagine that a suicide party would be something to enjou watching; just how we can’t imagine a squad of sausages going out into the world to fight crime would be that entertaining also. Or would it…?

Mix Up
“SOTP” Doing A Bad Job
This one is a major mistake. How can one possibly make sure an error? Especially as there is a stop sign sat right next to it! All you need to do is literally look to the right and copy what is right in front of you. We’re sure it won’t have any effect on cars stopping, since the sign is more than enough. However, it is quite funny.

SOTP Doing A Bad Job
Rebellious Staff
The hotel staff here have clearly had enough of management! To the point where they are now outwardly defying instructions. They could have at least lined the stacked chairs up in front of the sign, where they could then say that they simply didn’t see it. However, the fact they stacked the furniture next to the sign implies that they wanted management to see it. Wow, message received.

Rebellious Staff
Abbreviation Mishap
This one actually took us a few seconds to realize the intention of the tag. Sometimes abbreviations are simply done automatically, with the key letters remaining. Well, this only shows that things should be checked by a human prior to being processed. Whoever allowed the word ‘spearmint’ to be shortened to ‘sperm’ quite like this, needs to be fired. Is $10 for extra fresh sperm a good deal?

Abbreviation Mishap
The No-Candy, Candy Machine
Perhaps the person who set up this machine actually didn’t care about it working properly, or thought it would be funnier for people to look rather than have. Technically, they have followed the instructions too. We are sure that the instructions said to put the candy inside the machine. It probably didn’t say “rip open the bag and empty them into the machine”. A technicality that common sense should have really prevented.

The No Candy, Candy Machine
Flag Error
Patriotism is a fair thing. People do a lot for their country, and their country in turn does a lot for them. Perhaps the person who processed this was a dual citizen? Perhaps it was simply a mistake? Or more likely, it was a practical joke. Isn’t it funny seeing a “Made in China” under a U.S. flag? Whoops.

Flag Error
Misplaced Bricks
This pathway is certainly not one for those with OCD. The average person might notice this error, shrug, and subsequently go on with their day. It is a strange error, but it doesn’t affect the effectiveness of the path. The path still works, there are no holes or gaps- it is just strange! Why would someone do this? Simply to mess with people!

Misplaced Bricks
Insect Error
You don’t need to be an entomologist to know what is a tarantula and what is not. This is made even easier by the picture of a real tarantula at the top of the packet. What sits below is certainly something else. Since when was a cockroach a tarantula? Maybe this is some sort of scientific development that we just didn’t know about. Although it seems far more likely that this is just an error.

Insect Error
Inside Feelings
Sure, kids might hate the idea of going back to school. The thought can literally send shooting rage through them, but this would never be acted on… It seems like the display setter hasn’t noticed this. Advertising a selection of knives to kids going back to school does not seem suitable. Maybe they could have at least labelled it “home ec”, if the purpose was for chopping veg.

Inside Feelings
Weak Discount
In this picture we see many different discounts. The top one, the speedo senior, seems to be a reasonable discount- dropping ten dollars from $29.95 to $19.95. The offer below, however, is far less glamorous. The ad tells you not to spend $9.95, but to spend, $9.95? This isn’t exactly a discount, in fact, it’s not discount at all! What an error.

Weak Discount
A Confusing Remote
This remote is quite confusing. We are not sure which is the correct button for the correct function! Say we want to scroll left on the tv guide, do we follow the symbol, or the word? The left matches the right symbol and the right follows the left symbol! We’re already stressed just thinking about it. We can’t imagine how the remote owner must be feeling.

A Confusing Remote
Mac N’ Cheese Gone Wrong
This is false advertising on another level! I mean there is pasta, and there is cheese, but this is not pasta and cheese. Thankfully nobody bought that this was Mac N’ Cheese and an uproar was caused.

Mac N’ Cheese Gone Wrong
A Forgetful Staff-Member
Working long hours can be tough; it’s quite easy to forget the simplest of things. Take this situation for example. Bananas might be a common fruit, they are quite tasty and very prominent. The person making the sign had a momentary lapse and entirely spaced on the name of them though! Well what’s the next best thing? Well, probably ask someone. However, if nobody is around, at least describe it. To be fair to them, the fruits in the picture are in fact long yellow things.

A Forgetful Staff Member
False Advertising
This is some clear false advertising! Where they claim live catfish are set, there is one lone catfish. The issue is, this catfish doesn’t look so “live”. The catfish is lopsided, and doesn’t look too good. Come on man, either fix the sign or sell fish that are indeed live!

False Advertising
Enter, No Entry
Confused by the header? Well then this picture is the one for you! We were equally as confused. The signs on the door read, “Do Not Enter” & “Enter Only”. Well, considering how you can’t possibly obey both of these commands, this is a problem. The fact that they are situated directly next to each other is all the more problematic.

Enter, No Entry
Lacking Stability
Well, we can see that the original design wasn’t anything to shout about, but the repair is even worse. Did this person really believe that plastic wrap could stop this structure from falling? Expect imminent disaster right here; stand way back!

Lacking Stability
Crash Incoming
What on Earth was the planner thinking when they designed this parking lot? Not only are the spaces too close, there is no space for anything! How can you possibly turn, park, enter without a crash happening. In the picture you can still see the dimwits responsible continuing their bad job! Someone needs to be getting fired for this…

Crash Incoming
Follow The Safety Rules
This man looks like an experienced craftsman. He uses tools all the time; from dangerous power tools to the simple screw driver. This isn’t his first rodeo. He’s never hurt himself, and never will. Perhaps he’s forgotten all the safety rules he assumingly used to follow. He certainly hasn’t noticed the huge fire hazard happening right behind him. One thing that most rational people know, is that fire and gas cylinders do not go well together…

Follow The Safety Rules
This certainly isn’t the place for napping! She may think she is will hidden by the separation walls, but if anyone walks by her cubicle they will surely see her and notify a superior. This ain’t the place!

Nap Time
Got Spirt?
Cheerleaders are important for sports games. They cheer the team on, they get the crowd all fired up and they have a great time in the process; their routines can be mightily impressive. It’s just a shame that whoever made this sign has set them up for disaster! Come on, without the second “i” it just looks silly!

Got Spirt
Water To Wine
Has Jesus just walked past this aisle? Otherwise what explanation could we have for water turning into wine? Even this is quite something; how has Jesus then gone on to bottle the wine too, with descriptions? Impressive. Something only a divine character could do…

Water To Wine
Nicknames
Cody is clearly the joker of the pizzeria. Cody loves his job, but he loves messing around. For example, Cody loves wearing the pizza topping tags in place of his own name! After all, these are some of the nicknames his girlfriends use, he claims. The management are not so impressed, however. Cody has been instructed not to use the tags as his name again, but we have a feeling that Cody won’t be listening…

Nicknames
A Unique Name
We love name confusion, and this is a prime example. There are two possible routes to go down here, and you can believe whichever you desire to. The first is that this man’s name is actually Name Here, and he works as/is from Name Here. This does seem unlikely, in all honesty though. The second is a faux pas from FOX, where they simply forgot to add details about this gentleman. We think the second option is more likely, but hope for comedy’s sake that it is the first route.

A Unique Name
Well this one is quite self-explanatory. Whoever designed this bridge is surely not a planner any longer. Poor performance, all round.

Construction Error
Who?
FOX feature once again with another error! Many may have heard of notorious terrorist Osama Bin Ladin, but we’re not too sure who Obama Bin Ladin is. Is Obama Bin Ladin a bad guy? We just hope the presenter read the name correctly on screen.

Who
Bad Parking
Pizza delivery woman, you can’t park there! Perhaps this was one of those, “arrive in less than 30 minutes or your pizza free” type places. Whatever the case, she has zoomed over there and is set on delivering her pizza. Well, after crashing her car, it might be her last opportunity to do so before she is fired.

Bad Parking
Cutting Class
Cutting class isn’t a new phenomenon, kids have been doing it for years. What is new, is the inventive ways that the kids are coming up with to get away with it. Just look below. This child has substituted a balloon wearing a hoodie in their place, and it seems to have fooled the teacher. Even though the kid is learning some sort of skill, we doubt it will help them for exam-time.

Cutting Class
Obstacle Course
Does the designer of this landscape think that all the cyclists that come down here are acrobats? If not, how on earth do they expect them to slalom through the bollards? Clearly someone has made an error with space and design; we are sure someone was fired for this.

Obstacle Course
Slow Mail Day
Has your mail taken longer than expected to arrive? Well, it is unlikely, but never impossible that your mailman is actually taking a nap in your local mailbox! It really happens, evidently. Just below, Mr. Postman has clearly had a late night, and your mail is almost certainly delayed.

Slow Mail Day
Privacy
Privacy is a privilege, something that everyone is entitled to. The designer of this bathroom seems to have made an error in judgement, however. It is not often that people use the sitting toilet in public and the urinal in private. This could lead to quite a problematic situation…

Privacy
The Wrong Message
It seems that someone has the wrong end of the stick here. Everyone should love and respect their own body, and body confidence is great. However, telling people that the best dress to wear is no dress at all, might send the wrong message. Also, we can’t imagine it will make more sales for the store.

The Wrong Message
New Paintjob
Well, there are two ways the driver can interpret what has happened here. Either they can see the free, new paintjob that they now have on their car. Or they can simply get mad and upset at how people can be so ridiculous that instead of moving the car, they simply painted right over it! It is quite funny, though.

New Paintjob
Planet of The Pigs
Well we all know about the Planet of The Apes, but we’ve never heard of Planet of The Pigs? Have pigs attained the intellect of a human and gone on to take over the world? Perhaps a colleague was trying to get revenge on an annoying co-worker, but whatever the case; this unfortunate position doesn’t do the presenter any favors.

Planet Of The Pigs
Portal
The only rational explanation for this image, is that the model involved has fallen through a portal! How else could the end of her be so close to the beginning of her? Simple, portal!

Portal
New Microphone
These days, who really knows how far technology has come. It seems like every other day they are bringing out something new, so is this image such a shock? Well you see many different types of microphone. You have the old-school voice recorder, followed by two classic microphones, an IOS device microphone and finally… a television remote? We can’t say for sure whether this remote can voice record, but we think this might be a faux pas.

New Microphone
Presidential, Pardon?
Not quite the regular presidential pardon, we think this presidential broadcast needs to apologize to Miss Norah O’Donnell! We are sure they meant to put ‘The White House’, but the spelling error seems to describe her in a way other than journalist/presenter. Whoops.

Presidential, Pardon
Wild Barbeque
It seems this barbeque got wild! Somehow the burger buns have gotten into the hot dog buns bag and vice versa. We wonder if anyone followed these bags literally and tried to eat a burger in a hot dog bun and a hot dog in a burger bun. We suppose if they were sliced the right way, it might be possible.

Wild Barbeque
Australian Winter
This one might not necessarily be a working mistake, just a funny reality! For many of us, winter is a time of cold, wearing sweaters and cozying by the fireplace with hot drinks. Well, Australian winter is a little different. On the other side of the world, winter in Australia has great weather! If this is indeed the case, then it would make sense for flip-flops to be Winter shoes. However, if it is somewhere else like the U.S., it is a very good practical joke.

Australian Winter
No More Bags
Unless someone here is lacking brain-cells, this actually might be super innovative! It is very possible that having run out of bags to store the popcorn, a bright employee noticed that ice bags are essentially the same! This person should be rewarded for saving the popcorn, rather than ridiculed for mislabeling them as ice! Anyone can see it clearly isn’t ice… we hope.

No More Bags
Bad Labeling
Compare Foods needs to take a look at who is labeling their foods! Either this person has made an enormous error, or this is just a new strain of watermelon that closely resembles corn on the cobb. We have reason to think it isn’t the second option…

Bad Labeling
