Elizabeth Olsen drew inspiration from her namesake Montgomery for her performance in WandaVision’s second episode. Tragically, the sickness had progressed to stage four by that point. According to Montgomery’s partner Foxworth in an interview with Cancer Today, the actress experienced symptoms for a considerable amount of time before seeking medical attention.
