Susan didn’t notice anything unusual when she awakened to her baby wailing. It looked like any ordinary morning. She’d stood up and gone to the bathroom to change Roy’s diaper. She didn’t detect anything amiss when preparing his milk until she was ready to pour it into his cup, at which point she was prepared to scream.
