The Interior Ministry of Saudi Arabia published a list of 51 names that were prohibited in 2014 because they were seen to be against social norms. These included names with a religious connotation as well as foreign names like Linda, Alice, and Elaine. Nutella – France

France forbade the use of the well-liked chocolate hazelnut spread as a baby name. The French government believed it would be overly commercial and encourage bullying among children.
