Along with the potential bookbinding, the team also discovered a piece of parchment that was made out of animal skin. This item was found in the same location as the potential bookbinding.
There is even a possibility that the text on the parchment could be connected to a text that was initially discovered in the year 1897 and that was exchanged between Frederick Blair and William Chappell. It is hypothesized that the writing in question could be dated to the 15th century at the earliest. At that time, only the most crucial communications, primarily those between kings and other notable figures, were committed to writing.
