During the third season, the two characters and their crew were working to drain a large hole when they came across a number of ancient artifacts. These artifacts included a Roman sword, which provided strong evidence that Romans must have visited the island at least a few thousand years before the time of the discovery. In addition, they discovered a collection of carvings from Portugal, in addition to artifacts that may have had some connection to the Aztecs.

They also found a mysterious stone that simply had the letters “H” and “O” on it, which could be translated into the Greek letters Eta and Theta. This stone had no other markings on it. It brought to mind a wall that Rick had seen in a Templar prison that was located in Domme, France.

There are a great many other possible origins for this stone, despite the fact that some people have speculated that it is the kind of stone that might have belonged to a Masonic Royal Arch High Priest.
