The discovery of a lead cross by Rick, Marty, and Gary may have just rewritten history. Gary thinks that the cross, which has a square hole on its top, can be dated to between the years 1200 and 1600, which would make it a medieval artifact. But that’s not the end of it. They also found a mysterious stone that simply had the letters “H” and “O” on it, which could be translated into the Greek letters Eta and Theta. This stone had no other markings on it. It brought to mind a wall that Rick had seen in a Templar prison that was located in Domme, France.

If the hypothesis that Oak Island is connected to the Knights Templar turns out to be correct, then this information might bring us one step closer to understanding the secret behind the enigmatic artifacts found on the island. “If proof can be established that members of the Knights Templar successfully made their way to North America as many as seven centuries ago,” the narrator said. “If proof can be established that they did make it,” the narrator said. “It would change not only the history of a small island over the coast of Nova Scotia, but it could change the history of the world – forever.”
