Learning to Let Go
Over time, Lily learned that love sometimes means letting go. The foxes had taught her that. She had nurtured them when they were vulnerable, but in the end, they needed something more than what she could provide. It was a lesson she carried with her in other parts of her life—knowing when to hold on and when to set something free. It wasn’t easy, but it made her love all the more meaningful.
A New Kind of Love
Lily’s love for animals only grew stronger after her experience with the foxes. She became passionate about learning more about wildlife and how to help creatures in need. Her parents, seeing her dedication, encouraged her by taking her to local wildlife shelters, where she could volunteer and continue to make a difference. Each time she helped an animal, she felt the same rush of love and purpose that she had with the foxes.
