Comedic genius Kevin Smith endured a rollercoaster when it came to health and weight, and his battle reached a boiling point when he suffered a near-fatal heart attack in 2018. The medical emergency opened his eyes, and he started making the necessary lifestyle changes. Kevin’s primary area of change was his diet, and by going vegan and making sure he takes walks daily, the hilarious performer shed a whopping fifty-one pounds! Kevin says that although he misses things like steaks and cake, he realizes that this is the only way for him and that physical well-being is the most important thing – we couldn’t agree more.
