Katie might not have been very thrilled with these phrases. Suri, though, was apparently her first focus. She probably thought they were valuable if they allowed her to shield her kid from the Church of Scientology. Furthermore, her daughter was protected from the faith under the conditions of the settlement. They apparently said Suri could not be “exposed to anything Scientology related,” which would include gatherings, places of worship, or educational institutions. Considering how much of Tom Cruise’s life seems to center on the church, this might well explain the poor relationship between Suri and Cruise. He was not shut off entirely, though, because he was still permitted to see her thanks to the visiting privileges.

How can you say farewell to the child you are meant to love for the rest of your life? Apparently, by visiting Disney World. The theme park excursion was one of the final public activities that Tom Cruise and his daughter engaged in before their alleged breakup. I hope everyone had a great time on their day out. Naturally, neither side realized at the time that these outings would no longer be common. We don’t think Tom Cruise informed his kid she wouldn’t be seeing him again by sitting her down on the tea cups. But maybe if it had occurred, it would have eased the supposed alienation a little bit?
